Through coaching partnerships, students improve aspects of college life that directly impact their college outcomes and satisfaction. Coaching can support:

  • the development of support networks and utilization of campus resources

Academic life is more than grades alone. Academic life coaching has the potential to benefit all aspects of a student’s life toward achievement of the their ultimate college goals.

Academic life is complex.

Coaching sessions are scheduled at 45 minutes in length and provided as a teleservice. After an introduction to the coaching model, the student works with their coach to set a meaningful agenda, establishing the desired focus and outcome of each session. Each session strives to end with a measurable outcome often driving the student toward precise and actionable steps to follow the session. A typical cadence is to meet with the academic life coach every other week.
